Meet Kendall Shue and Her Mission

Or, ‘Mrs. Shue!’ When I started teaching 7th grade World History, I wasn’t quite sure where to begin. I hated it when my previous history classes never got through the whole curriculum (anyone else remember cramming the Vietnam War into ONE DAY?!). So, I created a year-long guide to keep myself on track throughout the entire year.

But then I noticed my students were struggling to really grasp the information I was giving them. That’s when I developed my proven ‘History and Skills Placement’ test. Once I started using the data from this test, my students began to truly understand what was being taught! By incorporating data, year-long pacing, and engaging lessons, my classes learned more and had way more fun!
